Palliative Care ProviderAnna Hicks, MD Anna Hicks, MDAnna Hicks, MD is a recent addition to the Four Seasons’ team. Drawn to the organization's core values, which focus on the care of the whole patient provided by a multidisciplinary team, Dr. Hicks is committed to providing compassionate care to the patients and families she serves. A native of Aiken, SC, she completed her undergraduate work the University of Georgia receiving degrees in both Cellular Biology and Religion. Anna graduated with an MD from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, SC. She then moved to Memphis, TN where she completed a residency in Internal Medicine followed by a year of subspecialty training in Hospice and Palliative Care. She is board certified in both. Anna recently moved to Hendersonville after pursuing another fellowship in Geriatric medicine at the University of Virginia. She is excited to be a new member of the Hendersonville medical community. Anna has two sons and is married to John Hicks, an orthopedic surgeon with Blue Ridge Bone and Joint's Hendersonville office. In her free time, Anna enjoys being with family, enjoying the outdoors and cooking. |
