Hospice ProviderLisa Perino, MD Lisa Perino, MDLisa Perino, MD, a native of Illinois, comes to Four Seasons with a background in Family Medicine. As a family practitioner, Lisa spent a number of years in private practice. She is passionate when it comes to easing suffering, providing compassionate care, and guiding patients through the maze of the health care system. She enjoys working with a multi-disciplinary team to provide excellent, "whole patient care" for her patients with advanced illness and their families as they transition into hospice care. Lisa attended the University of Illinois and graduated in the top five percent of her class. Her name is forever etched on the Bronze Tablet in the halls of the university library. She attended medical school also at the University of Illinois. Lisa is board certified in family medicine and soon will sit the boards in palliative care. Lisa has served on several international medical missions. She has used her experience and expertise to serve patients in Guatemala, Zambia, Philippines, Vietnam, the West Indies and Kenya. Lisa came to the Four Seasons team in 2008 with almost twenty years experience as a physician. She is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Care as well as the American Academy of Family Physicians. When not working, Lisa is out on the back roads of North Carolina riding her bicycle. |
