Four Seasons Compassion for Life

How To Start Services

Anyone can refer a patient to Four Seasons

Many times friends or families will call because they need help. We take the initiative from there and will have the necessary conversations with other family members, the prospective patient, and the physician in order to get services started.

Four Seasons offers services to anyone dealing with a serious life-limiting illness. It is very important to realize that you do not have to be days away from death to be admitted to Four Seasons. It is not unusual for people who are admitted to hospice service to live longer than six months. In fact, recent studies have shown that patients who receive hospice care actually live longer.

Palliative Care is a program that aims to relieve suffering and improve quality of life by providing holistic care to patients and families with serious life-limiting illness. Like hospice services, this care is coordinated with your family physician. Unlike hospice, Palliative Care is available to patients at any stage of a serious life-limiting illness, and can be provided along with curative/life prolonging treatments.
