Shonda M. Asaad, MD joined Four Seasons in 2010.  She is a native of Virginia and has lived in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina before moving to North Carolina.  She earned her BS from Bridgewater College, VA and her MD from West Virginia University School of Medicine.  She completed her Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at Penn State University, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. 

Currently, her time is split between her Hematology and Oncology practice, and Four Seasons Hospice. 

In her free time, she volunteers with her dog, Nefertari in the Pet therapy program.  They also enjoy attending Camp Bluebird each year for cancer survivors.  Shonda also enjoys working with the Casting for Recovery program taking breast cancer survivors Fly Fishing.  Other interests include snow skiing, SCUBA diving, needlework, horseback riding, and spending time with her family.
